Our mission.

Aging batteries fuel e-waste.

Our mission is to make our future more sustainable by improving the performance and longevity of lithium-ion batteries through smart charging technology.

Each year, over 5 billion devices are produced, but nearly a third become waste due to aging batteries. This not only harms the environment but also costs consumers billions annually.

Habits like overnight charging, charging to 100%, and fast charging are silently damaging your batteries, shortening their lifespan and leading to unnecessary electronic waste.

We aim to optimize the charging process to prioritize battery health, allowing consumers to keep their devices longer, save money, and reduce their environmental impact.

It started with a year of cycling batteries.

The idea began with Jardo during an MSc Physics literature study on battery degradation mechanisms. After a year of continuously cycling dozens of batteries under different charging protocols, the results were unanimous: across every protocol examined, we saw a substantial extension in battery lifespan, as much as 63%.

How much you gain depends on how much you already do to protect your batteries. The experiments ran with AccuBattery installed so the findings were externally validated by a trusted battery analytics app with over ten million downloads.
